Sr. Marketing Strategist


The Sr. Marketing Strategist is an expert in database marketing in the gaming industry and has deep and specific skills around the segmentation and building of a complete end to end marketing program for a casino in North America. You will be responsible for assisting our customers with designing, building, executing and analysing marketing campaigns within the QCI Marketing tool.



  • Building direct marketing segmentation grids
  • Creating offers and offer codes
  • Building A/B testing programs and measuring the outcomes
  • You are intimately aware of the complexities of a complete database marketing program and how important it is to not make mistakes in offer value or quantity
  • You are familiar with one or more of the following gaming systems: Oasis, IGT, Konami, CMP or ACSC
  • Maintain integrity of the database including, but not limited to, customer account maintenance and file maintenance pertaining to selection criteria and duplicate accounts
  • Create and validate queries written against the various databases and provide reports that can be utilized by the operating departments
  • Maintain player tracking systems and data retrieval process for direct mail programs
  • Assist customers with planning, developing and implementing strategies for targeted marketing campaigns and analysis within in the QCI Marketing tool
  • Analyze pertinent information and present findings with a recommendation for improvement
  • Record and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs
  • Assist customers with creating ad-hoc reporting for the operating departments utilizing the QCI product
  • Analyze data and produce clean files
  • Assist in report writing/modification
  • Assist customers with measuring and interpreting data to include customer profiling and behavior across customer lifecycle
  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • Six years of experience in database marketing with a major Casino Gaming or Resort environment in the database marketing department.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications
  • Knowledge of SQL scripts or MS Access or even advanced excel spreadsheets
  • Must be EXTREMELY detailed, organized and deadline oriented
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information
  • Working knowledge of Database Marketing industry trends and standards
  • Working knowledge with A/B testing and optimization and various data models
